The castle is closed on Tuesdays, and the whole domain from 4 to 22 January. The Hameau and the restaurant in the park are closed on Tuesdays, and the Hameau is also closed in winter, from 15 November to 12 March.

How long should you stay?
Count on at least half a day. A whole day is better if you want to see the castle, the park and the Great Stables. There is no time limit in the castle, and you can leave and come back the same day.
Bags, dogs and photos
Large luggage is not accepted in the castle, and you carry your backpack in front of you. Dogs and cats are not allowed in the castle, not even in a bag, except guide dogs. You can take photos in the castle and the Horse Museum without a flash or tripod. Selfie sticks and drones are forbidden, and so are photos and videos under the dome of the stables during shows.
Free entry and accessibility
A visitor with a disability and one companion enter free. The first Sunday of the month is not free. The castle has 2 wheelchairs and the Stables and Horse Museum one, and they cannot be booked. Adapted golf carts can be rented in the park, parking is free with a mobility card, and some areas are not fully accessible.

From 17 October 2026 to 3 January 2027, two exhibitions are on: The Pink Diamond, at the Musée Condé, and The United States and Chantilly: Interwoven Histories. Temporary exhibitions are included in the castle ticket.
